Welcome to the GLS 4.0 Games and Learning Reference wiki!

This GLS 4.0 Games and Learning Reference wiki is a place where all of us can share our knowledge about games and other media technologies.  We have begun this wiki by adding key terms and definitions that we thought were important, but this is just a starting point.  We invite you to add terms, definitions , and links to external resources that you have found useful in your own gaming and teaching.

Guidelines:

You can navigate the wiki quickly using the side-bar on the right for specific areas of interest, or search for a particular term using the search box in the above right.

If you are familiar with wikis and you have something to share, feel free to add content at will. We do ask that when making changes to this wiki you only do non-destructive editing. That is to say, feel free to add additional definitions or make notes about content which you believe to be incorrect, but please don't delete any content (for an example follow this link). Our moderators will take care of making corrections in the event that they are needed.

If you are new to wikis, the process of adding to this wiki is simple. First off you must be a member of the wiki. If you are not currently a member, please contact GLS through the conference website and we will add you. After that, all you have to do is find the page with the term you want to edit, and click the edit button at the bottom of the page. This will open an edit window which looks much like any text editing window. Through it you can add, words, images, and links. While there are many formatting options, we ask that you keep the format of text plain. If you are adding a new term, just make your best guess as to what page it should live on and drop it in there.
